Easley Breaks MOC Men’s Basketball All-Time Career Scoring Record

easleyrecordMarch 3, 2010 - MOUNT OLIVE - Tuesday night, in the first round of the 2010 Conference Carolinas Men’s Basketball Tournament, Kendrick Easley became the Mount Olive College men’s basketball all-time career scoring leader breaking a record held by Russell Stephens, who was in attendance to witness the event. Easley’s 29 points gave him a total of 2,187 points breaking Stephen’s previous record of 2,165. Top-seeded Mount Olive defeated Number 8 seed Coker 95-75 and will advance to the next round to play host to Number 4 seed, Pfeiffer, Friday. Tuesday night’s game will air on PACC-10 TV Saturday and Sunday at 7pm.
